Default What do the Jackpot 4" mufflers sound like?

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a stage 1 kit from Fuel Moto that would include a Power Commander V, hi flow Fuel Moto air cleaner, and the Jackpot 4" mufflers.

In an email to Fuel Moto, I said that I used to have an '04 Road King Custom with the older style "track only" Screamin' Eagle slipons and absolutely LOVED the sound. It was not obnoxious at all, but still sounded like a good Harley.

Anyway, Jamie recommended the 4" Jackpot mufflers. Is anyone here running them? If so, what's your opinion on their overall tone, volume level, and performance?

Thanks!

Very happy with mine. Had 3-1/2" Rineharts on previous ride and believe these are deeper. Mine are the 4" slash downs that I bought just before the slash up 4" mufflers were introduced but I wouldn't change them cuz I like the sound.

I like mine, they are definately not obnoxious. can hear your radio when cruising. sometimes wish they were louder, even thought about getting another set of slipons for when i want to disturb the neighbors, but thats just me, they have good tone to them, & will talk to you when you get on the throttle

I had the full package and loved the Jackpots, but I ended up putting the quiet tune baffle in because it was a little too loud for me at highway cruising when I wanted to hear my tunes. It will definitely set off the car alarms if you really crack the throttle.

Kinda strange as I had an '04 RK as well with the off road screamin eagles (loved'em), I bought a low mileage set of the original Jack pots here on the forum and they were just the sound i was looking for, I believe they have just a bit crisper sound as well. From what I have heard they are the same baffle just slightly bigger can.
