Default oil blow by fix

Hi all
I put this over on the DIY engine forum but with only one post there I thought I would put it here too.
I have an 09 103 in my Ultra and it continues to drip oil off the air filter. Tried the mystfree and it didn't seem to help much. Had the dealer check the oil pump alignment and they said it off a tiny bit, and re set it but she still drips.
Doherty's power vent won't fit my bike so I wondered if anyone has made some type of fitting for the breather bolt that can let the blow by vent to the ground. If so, pics and other details would be nice
Thanks

An overfilled crankcase can cause this also. Drop the oil level to just below the full mark and put a clean air filter on her. Also make sure you have the right oil filtern on the bike. These 3 items fixed mine and she was sucking oil big time. Uses zero oil between changes now.

I had a terrible problem with mine. Finally solved it using the Doherty Powerpacc with their vent setup for the TBW bikes. This link https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...werpacc-3.html might help you. The setup consists of the crossover tube, the Powerpacc and an inline powervent. Now I rarely get a drip out of the Inline Powervent.

Thanks guys I think I'll drill and tap the stand offs for fittings that can take hoses to a T and to the ground

That's what I did but I used a "Y" instead of a "T" just in case there is any similarities to an exhaust system in this routing. And after a bit I routed the line to a little container so I could see what came out.......a tiny bit of oil mist, and a lot of water vapor.

while the Doherty power vents won't fit they do have an AC that will. I had one on my 08 and am waiting for one for my 2010. It uses the single tube on each vent and can be vented up under the tank, or vented down in the a catch can. I vented my 08 down and used a Gearbox Vent from Golan Industries part number 67-312B $35.00

Kuryakyn also makes one that will work if you want to mount it up high. The golan just hung under the motor. Worked like a champ

why would you want to vent the oil on the ground? Why don't you find the problem & fix it. I would check your oil level first. I would put back on the stock A/C & see if that solves your problem.
