Same bike, same plan, except I bought the docking kit. Expensive and suspect quality in some areas, but worth every penny as I use the bike in both "modes" and enjoy swapping over easily. Didn't bother about the antenna, use ipod rather.
I bought a 2008 SE street glide seat off Ebay in the UK - love the look. If you look out for them they do come up. I paid £80 for the seat.

Very nice bike!! Looks familiar . Where did u get the license plate bracket though? I just noticed you bike doesn't have a fender tip light.

Really nice! Like the other guys said, get the detachable kit so you can easily put it on and off. Can't beat the tour pak when you are riding with some fender fluff. They like putting their purse and extra layers in there.
Also, get that tail light upgrade kit to turn the rear tail lights into red brake lights. It's a cheap safety improvement.
Really nice bike! I can imagine the great roads you have to tour over there and the "Wow" factor that bike must create.. can't imagine you see many of those over there.
