Inspection Sticker Placement
#33
I have been in riding in NoVA since 1998 and have never been stopped on my bike for an inspection check. You must have been doing something they didn't like and made up the inspection check garbage.
...and it was a friend of mine that used to be and inspector that said don't waste your time getting the bike inspected unless you really want to.

In Hawaii you could have up to 3 stickers on your car/bike. Inspection, base sticker, and a recon(another inspection for modified vehicles) Im glad I dont have to deal with that **** anymore.
I do have a post sticker now. But I used velcro. I attached velcro to the lower part of my dash where the black meets the chrome on fork and attached sticker to other piece of velcro and placed in saddlebags. So when I know Im going on post I pull it out, velcro it and then remove. A lot easier to take off than that sticker on the fork. You could try that. Not sure where your sticker neds to be.

In NH they usually put it on the left side of the front fork down near the axle nut....on my HD the dealer put it on the left fork tin....even a little crooked! When I get the new sticker put on I'll make sure they put it down low on the fork and I'll do my best to get the old one off without messing up the tin too much
