I did the Custom Dynamics LED upgrade and it is the best money I have spent. Also did the white lights for the front turn signals and they actually help add light and visibility at night. Do yourself a favor and do the upgrade!

I've got a 2011 Street Glide also but think the Moco made a mistake in taking the box light off.It looks nice & clean but I want my azz to be seen. The more lights the better.

I knew I wouldn't be alone here. This is good stuff. Made up my mind thanks to you guys. Going to do the tri bar upgrade and the led upgrade. If they cant see me then I'll put the plasma rods on. Or just ride in the back all the time.

Viperr that looks good.

Another trick you might try is to tell your riding brothers to quit fixating on your tail light. I have a 11 SG and I've had no complaints. Matter of fact most say how bright it is. With the tri bar & the turn signal/brake lights, your brake lights are actually covering more area. Thats not saying what others have told you doesn't work though.

Seriously now that is some kind of bright, I like it . When I looked at those plasma rods on the web site I couldn't tell how they were mounting them. From their site it looked like they were mounted on the edge of the filler, and I was thinking that lip aint thick enough to hold the rod. Thank you for posting, that cleared things up real well. That drawing says it all. I wasn't sure but what that wouldn't have turned into a $130.00 dollar mistake. Think I'm gona have me a set of those. Thanks again to everyone for the help.

I used the quarter round method when I installed mine. I used 5/8 vinyl quarter round since I couldn't find 3/4 vinyl. It worked just fine.
