11 FLHTK, jiffy stand sensor

It's a safety feature genius. Just like the one in your car that tells you to put your seat belt on. The design is so you don't ride off with your kick stand down and cause a wreck. Good luck making a left turn with the kick stand down. No worse than people forgetting to put their kick stand down, I have seen it time and time again. Just when you think you are a seasoned rider is when the stupid stuff happens. And we all know you cant fix stupid.

If you are DUMB enough to ride away with your stand down please stay off the roads I am on...... Do you forget to put the trunk down on the cage before going for a drive.....or here is a good one...people who put gas in and drive away without the cap and the gas door open........wow....
The safety safari folks need to leave the sheeple alone so they can live a little......

A jiffy stand sensor? Really? Even if my bike had one, I would rip it off even before the reflectors. Do you REALLY need a kick stand sensor killing your engine? I don't get it.
I dont see how this is usfull at all and I and baffled this would be a law anywhere.
Makes me think I'm lucky I can make it through a day w/o some law dictating my every action or thought.

Like with my wreck monday - had I been paying attention to my speed and not the storm, i wouldn't be on crutches. Now, do i need a sensor to tell me its raining and retard the bikes engine? Hell no, it's up to me not to be a dumbass
