Today I fulfilled my promise to my bike that I would give her the gift of sounding like the true harley she is - I bought a set of vance and hines dresser duals to go with the vance and hines turndowns that I bought last week - both yet to be installed - can't wait. Next is an oil cooler before the riding season starts to keep her a little cooler and extend her life. She'll thank me for this!

My heads were pulled yesterday, getting the heads ported polished, valves, guides, and drilled for the compression releases. Harley says the releases are on back order, till January 27! won't get my build completed till some time in February.
Oh well it's cold in Indiana, and it gives me more time to spend money for more mods!

I've been running an S&S 107" in my 1990 Evo for almost four years, using the original starter. The 107" has ACRs and my starter clutch has just given out, the second time in 22 years, first with my S&S. I reckon my starter deserves a pension, so have bought a new bigger one. CRs will certainly give the starter and its clutch an easier time.
