It's getting chilly up here in the north, so I decided it was a good time to carpet the inside of my aftermarket tour pack. A little rough around the edges (pun intended) but it'll do.

I ordered a pair of 13" Drag Specialties Ride Height rear coil shocks for my 2011 RK. Expect to install them next week and I will give an update if they are an improvement over the stock air ride. I did not find any reviews on them. I believe they are new on the market. They look like a quality built shock and retail for $269.00 delivered.

Took the bike out to the doctor tonight. Good news: I'm down 12lbs; bad news: my passing lights don't work. So I've got a winter project on my hands tracking down the issue.

How is the reach with the new bar using the highway foot rests? With no adjustment, I wonder if they are NOT 1 size fits all?
