The shifting linkage came apart during a ride and to fix that. Also adjusted the clutch while I was there. This the first time I adjusted the clutch adjustment and found it pretty easy.

I traded my 2011 Heritage with 24K miles for a 2011 RK(FLHR Vivid black) with 2800 miles. Brought the RK home and changed fluid in all 3 holes, 20w50 Quicksilver syn oil in the motor, 15w40 dino Rotella T in the primary, and Mobile 1 syn gear lube in the trans, performed and 1k service to go over bike, in general. Swapped out several items from the Heritage that I could use on the King. Installed Heim joints on the shift linkage and lowered the heal shifter, installed my J&M HMAS-2008 self amplified speaker system, installed windshield bag, installed run-turn brake light module and red rear lenses. I filled fuel tank with "pure" gas and 4oz of Chevron Techron fuel system concentrate. Installed LED lamps in all 3 front lights and aimed headlight bucket down and right. Installed a pair of RC Components 4" slip ons (what a sound) Removed seat and checked all connections, clean and tighten battery cables, found the tender cable rolled up and never used. Now ordered several must have comfort and safety mods for a future install, updates to come.

Doubt we will see any of those days here until late October. Went out to complete a couple of photo challenges yesterday, and even in a mesh jacket, it was miserable out. Worked on my BMW RT yesterday evening, and took it out for a shakedown ride this AM, and 15 miles was enough to convince me that the bike was good to go, and it was still too dang hot and humid, even at 9:30AM.

A Happy Father's Day to all dads here, and if you ride, be safe. tomp dd50

Rode through the AZ while travel home to Albuquerque from Cali.
Its cooling down now. But highest I saw was 119°. Let's just say it feels like youre holding two skillet handles while someone is blowing your arms with a heat gun. Intense!

I installed the HD Stage 1 Screaming Eagle Air Filter Kit and V&H 4" Slash Cut Slip Ons. Once the V&H FP3 Tuner arrives in a couple of days I'll hook it up and I'm done for awhile!

I'm surprised at how much air you can hear flowing (drawing?) through the new filter.
