Winds, allergies and income taxes kept me off the Ultra today. Beautiful weekend ahead, and planning a ride to visit friends for Easter.

A wonderful weekend to all. tp
Thank you! I do have a windshield. Up to this point i have only ridden with it on. I love it! Blocks all the wind real good! Im sure i will go with and without. I would love to ride but we got another snow storm last night so now we need another rain to wash the salt away. Looks like maybe next week.

New S&S Power Tune Duels on the Road King. Removal of the old exhaust, right floor board, old brackets took about 2.5 hours, Installation of new S&S head pipes, heat shields, new brackets, slip on fishtails and other hardware took about 3 hours. Installed new PCV map and started it up. Sounds good, Will take it out for a short ride tomorrow .

New S&S Power Tune Duel exhaust.

Fitted a stock wide saddle long range seat (which I got on Craigslist for $45 CDN!!!) and completely re-fabbed the stock back rest adjuster. I had found on my original stock seat that the saddle was not deep enough or far enough back for my 6' 1" body. The stock seat caused pain in my tailbone after about only 50 miles. The stock backrest adjuster was too far forward and was also sticking too high up for my liking. I cut the adjuster sides apart with a zip cutter and cut 7/8" off the side pieces to lower it. I also drilled new holes in the adjuster base to move it back 1.5" as this was required as the new (used) seat had the back rest opening further back than my original. This also required me to fabricate a new bracket for the front of the back rest adjuster plate. Welded it back together and reassembled. Haven't tried it out yet by just by sitting on the bike I can tell there is going to be great improvement.
TL;DR: Bought a used long range seat for $45. Cut my back rest adjuster into pieces. Re-welded back rest adjuster differently and modified mount. Mounted all on bike. Great!

Added LED accent lights now that in Texas you can legally run white or amber while riding. Will upload pics and vid later. Am thinking I may need to add a few more as the rear and front are not lit up.

Thanks, dirtdreamer50!

They're powder coated red, but the picture color resembles the Motor Company orange. Got them from SpiderPig.

Thanks. I've seen Vettes and Porsche's with red calipers. Bet yours looks good in red. Looks good in orange, too.

Hooked up some CD LEDs all around with Drag Specialties visor rings. They fit way better than HD, and have a nice space where the light comes through and visible from the side.
