I bought a reset switch and boot (67854-98 & 67880-94) and soldered it to the circuit board in my garage door opener, made a small bracket to mount it to the frame where it's easy to get to. Put the opener behind the side cover.

One guy did say, "what kind of bike is that, it looks like a car" when I had the tour pack on it.

I hear ya... I had similar experience the night HD released the 2012 SE RG CVOs. I looked it on the site and couldnt sleep all night. Called my local dealer the next morning and asked when they would have some in, they said "we have one now. I said what color? He said, brown or maple or something. I said, I'll be right there!"

The rest was History... I did a bunch of stuff to it to make it my own (LOL, I still have the factory front fender!) but still kept the heart of its CVO heritage intact (IMO). Like I said, it garnered a lot of attention. I also had it at 120 on route 212 in Wy and Montana on way through Beartooth at it ran flawless. Best riding HD I have ever ridden.

Here's one of the most recent pics of the bike after handlebars were swapped and couple other things that aren't in the other pic.

The day the guy from, LA bought it

Good luck with the college stuff. My youngest is a year away. Post Pics when you acquire the RG!

A few weeks ago this is what I did to my 2005 Eglide Standard.

1. Replaced rear fender with a 2006 SG
2. Deleted factory square taillight and t/s bar
3. Had the fender smoothed and repainted
4. 8" dual color plasma rods to replace r/b/t
5. Replaced tri bar light with r/b/t tri bar light
6. Removed rear grab bar
7. Replaced rear wheel with a 18x4.25 fat mammoth
8. K&N high flow air filter
9. Changed all fluids
10. New rear brake pads
11. New 3 pouch windshield bag from HD

And today, I just ordered some J&M Rokker saddlebag speaker lids with the 5x7's

Here's some pictures of the end results of the rear and the lids I ordered.

Well after having several people look at it and attempt to get a stuck bolt out of the trans case, I finally had to helicoil it. I tried everything in the book before I went to helicoil. Once I came to the conclusion of helicoiling, I had my dad come over for an extra set of eyes and we got through it. Really was not a bad process at all. After getting the trans cover back on, filled the bike back up with trans fluid, ran her and all was good. Adjusted the clutch and cable, she's all put back together now. The longest bar swap project of my life.

Recently my good buddy got a new bike and I recommended he go talk with the salesman I got my bike from. My buddy did, bought a bike from the salesman I did business with, and I guess for that I got a $100 gift card. Thinking about buying some new mirrors because the mirrors my RK came with are just too tall now with the 16'' apes.

Tonight though I'm going to do something easy and take the rear and front 'bumpers' off of the fenders. Nothing else to do in this mid February weather...

The list for the immediate future is now:
Passenger boards
4-point docking hardware
Quick detach passenger back rest and luggage rack
travel bag for road trips

Currently working on a stereo upgrade, just got done putting new progressives in the front, 10K service, and waiting to get the tank back on. Had hand painted lettering done and the tank recleared. (pic is after one coat of clear)
