tell me about those Latch Inserts. They look nice, I'm not a fan of those big latch covers and would rather use an insert. Brand & Price, please.

Instead of de-catting my OEM headpipe, I broke down and bought a s/s Jackpot headpipe and put them on yesterday. Except for needing a flat head gasket, it all went smooth. I had to download a different map to compensate for the lack of back pressure which gave me a bunch of decell pops.

Now with no cat, my Rush 3.5's are freakin' much, much louder. I have better mid-range power but of course, I lost some low-end torque.
Did I say louder? I guess if I ever had a mistress and wanted to sneak out for a midnight ride, I guess I'd get busted by the Mrs which would cost me plenty.... Good thing I don't have a mistress.

No repair/mods. Just spent an hour cleaning my bike.

 

Dropped it off at the shop to have a weird squeak/squeal noise figured out and fixed.

 

I sandblasted the nacelle to send it to powdercoat but I kind of like the look of the sandblasted chrome so I might just install it and see how it looks with the lowers being black.

I left it at work since that's where all my tools are and where I spend my days off (they have lifts) lol
