Love your bike. The rear wheel is mostly hidden, but you know what you got back there...if it's going to bother you; get the matching rear wheel when you can. If it doesn't bother YOU, forget other's opinions and just ride it.

Default SE Stage III kit

Well, my dealer was having a February special on labor, so after doing the math, buying aftermarket cams, push rods and a tuner, then having it installed, actually would have cost me about the same or more as going with the Screaming Eagle Stage III kit.

The kit came with the SE259e cams, push rods, new pistons, new compression springs, heavy duty clutch plate, SE Race tuner. I addded the polished stainless steel engine fasteners since the motor was apart.

Anyway, I picked it up yesterday, and all I can say is damn, did the work wake up my CFR pipes. Got to put about 50 miles on it after work with slight break in the weather here in PA. Now I have to get through the break in period and then have it dyno'd. I'm told with my setup, I should get at least 95hp 110tq easy.

Wasn't all done today, but added Tank Decals, HD bag lights, flush mount axle and Bagger Nation Dash.

Skimped on fitting the 18 inch rear for now, but I reckon having gone this far she deserves a matching rear? What you guys think about that ( keeping the original wheel hidden behind the bags instead of swapping it to match the front? )
Your bike looks fantastic. The white paint really stands out well. The 21 looks great, I plan a set myself.

Being new to Harleys, performed my first fluid transfusion service on all three "holes", using all Red Line fluids purpose-blended for each. The fluids for the transmission and primary were significantly different than what drained out, especially the transmission fluid.

Only took a couple of short test drives, as it's snowing like Hell, but shifts now "snick" instead of "clunk", which is nice. The valve train sounds smoother and very happy. The engine oil looked like the shop that supposedly serviced the bike prior to putting it on the floor on consignment lied about having done a full fluid service first.

Oh, it also starts more readily too, as it's now running 10w40 as it should be for this vicinity, rather than the 20-50 the previous owner was using. Ambient temp as we speak is 38F.

I put this fancy front fender guard/rail on. A bigger pain in the *** then I thought it would be, but worth it.

Pulled it off the lift from winter storage, uncovered it, checked all the fluids and electrical, fired it rite up and let it run for 20 minutes. Tomorrow I'll give it a bath and chrome polish and it will be road ready.
