Whoever put it on probably didn't put any oil on the filter gasket. Had that with mine, but at least I got it off when I did my first oil change without having to tear up the filter. Now, I do all my own fluid changes, and learning how to adjust the final drive belt.

Though I don't have the tools or facility to do all my own servicing, so I will be throwing some $$$$ at a dealership sometime, at least until the extended warranty expires in 9/2015.

Hey Bart, can you see over semis with that mirror? Love the look, but my blood pressure isn't high enough to push blood to hands above my head, so I went with 10" Yaffe's! Your bike is badass!

Installed the +2" Softbrake brake lever and +1" Softbrake shift lever. Wow, what a difference.

Thanks GBeck. Those bars are pretty deceiving. they look high in the picture but when I sit on the bike my hands come to about even with my shoulders, I'm only 5' 9". Now points on those come up to my eyes lol. Mirrors give a perfect view right over the shoulder.

Default cooled the engine down by about 20 degrees

After I put in SE 255 cams with a stage 2 my engine temp skyrocketed to over 300+ degrees.

So I removed the harley head bolt finned covers, which I really liked the look of, and dropped the head temps down by about 20 degrees per my IR thermometer taken at the top fin of rear head.

Default got sick of riding on a pogo stick

I have 40k miles on my Ultra, ridden over worse and worse roads through out America. I just couldn't take the bouncing up and down irrespective of the shock setting.

Just pulled the trigger and ordered Ohlin S36DR1L shocks from Motorcycle Metal. Can't wait to get them next week and they will be installed the day they show up.
