Installed an L.A.Choppers extended shift peg. Great piece.......one problem. The bolt was chromed and would not fit. Had to run it through a die to de chrome it.

2003 Electra Glide Classic 62,000 kms , Stage 2 With I hate to say International mufflers.( Moving to Australia)
Oil leak behind primary so,
1) inner primary seal bearing
2)mainshaft quad seal
3) trans main seal
4)hydraulic chain tensioner
5) shifter shaft seal
6) m/drive gear seal
In other words basically replaced almost everything.
This is on top of the SE cam hydraulic cam chain tensioner and hi flow oil pump last month. What really hurts is the bill since I'm in for joint replacement surgery on my right thumb in three weeks and can't do it myself.
I guess I'll get used to the whirring sound which replaces the old rattling sound.
However, the bike runs much smoother and is now ready to be shipped to Oz when we move!
