Hi, I'm new to this forum, so I have a question about how difficult it my be to change out the brake line from the resevoir, to the ABS module. I put some Chubby 10" apes on the bike and the clutch, and brake cables are too short now. Anybody outr there that has gone through this "birthing process" that can give some advise how difficult it will be to bleed the brakes after changing the brake line would be appreceated....Is it difficult to dothis?

A few things today......Put Brukus Saddlebag Secure Kit on my new CVO Bags, installed Boom Audio speakers in front fairing with (fiber-fill around them) Burst speaker covers and took if for a short ride to listen to the new Catalytic Converter removed pipes. Much better sound with new speakers and the cat free exhaust.

Picked up my saddlebag that was scraped up last summer from my bike "falling over" for no reason what so ever. (Had absolutely nothing to do with the tar being 130 degrees and that damn plastic thingamajig melting, you know, the one you put at the end of the jiffy stand so to increase the kickstand parking area). Anyhow thanks Tom, looks good as new and am looking forward to an "unblemished" ride this spring.
Billiygoat, you'll need some different parts, on my 18", 1.5" apes I used part# 38983-10, longer clutch cable, 38145-10, 44" upper brake lines, 48946-10, 15" lower brake lines, 70318-10, turn signal kit, 32310-08, TBW kit, and a tranny gasket. You may wish to consult with some one because there are shorter lengths available. Is it difficult.................. time consuming is a better way to look at it. Remember the first time you did something it took forever? The second time half of forever and the third time you could do it in your sleep? It's kinda like that. Happy "Ape'ing".

Road king to a street glide
Been working on this for a few weekends. Changed the complete wiring harness, tank, 13 inch bars braided lines, put the inner fairing and a JL Audio speakers and amp with a sony head unit, still in the progress but getting closer to being done.

Put in a new battery, installed TL7 headlight, installed my new 19" chrome enforcer front wheel. Tank is out to painter for touchups while waiting for the snow to melt.
