I changed brake fluid, both front and back. I changed clutch fluid. I installed Progressive monotubes. I loosened the belt and checked the play in the swingarm. I looked at the snow on the ground and the temp which was 12 below
Luckily, the dealership had just installed one when I was there so I got to see before I bought it. It truly sets the back end apart I don't see how anyone could miss it when you hit the brakes
My hard decision at the moment is do I just buy the lights or do I get the kit to make the tour pak removable. I don't know if I'll ever remove the tour pak but I wouldn't mind the option to do so.

You know my thoughts on this... What is better than 1 brand new Harleys in your garage... TWO.
Installing the quick detach tour pack kit gives you the ability to convert to a Street Glide in seconds and is a bonus upgrade to the Ultra. But I like the stream lined look. I also enjoy the comfort and storage on trips... Whalaa... two bikes in one.
This wasn't just done today, but I installed the detach kit for the tourpak. The kit is a real piece of work when it comes to the instructions. Finally I dumped the instruction pages and just did it. Found a street glide seat and installed that as well. All looks good. Going to go the route some others have taken and cut the harnesses by the battery.
