Got it loaded on a trailer today. Gonna take it to the Valley tomorrow so I can participate in the Run to the Guns on Saturday. Supposed to snow on the Rim on Saturday so I gotta trailer it in order to get home.

 

Well, actually yesterday, but.........

Washed it, waxed it, put it on the battery tender and threw the sheets over it for hopefully not longer than 4 months.

 

Installed a LED Passing lamp kit...

 

Ordered new rear fender from my friends over at Baddad. Like a kid at Christmas again even though we won't be out for a few months......

 

Installed new Vance & Hines slash cut slip ons, a Big Sucker Stage 1 air cleaner with an Alleycat chrome cover and topped it all of with a Vane & Hines FuelPak fuel management system. Too bad it is the middle of winter here in Wisconsin and we won't be test riding for awhile. Oh well...maybe I can get those true dual headers on before it warms up.

 

Rode it in a parade for a WWII memorial dedication. Run to the Guns.

Short parade, but saw two wrecks right in front of the group I was with. Heard that no one was hurt seriously.

 

Got the call I have been waiting on...Tracy at Baker Drivetrain called and said that my transmission was on the way home and will be here Wednesday! Had the F6R and helical 5th gear upgrade done! PUMPED!

Plugged in the battery tender !

 

I put mine on my J&S jack, plugged it in to the tender and put the cover on it. I got to put a whopping 8 miles on it before it snowed and salted.
