Replaced a broken heat shield that Harley wanted $250 for... ended buying a complete set on ebay for $50. The good news is that I finally got to replace the 2010 heat shields that are shorter than the years after.

Almost traded it in on a 13 but talked myself into keeping what I have. Then rode it a couple hundred miles home through Salt River Canyon. Nice ride.

Bought a take-off windshield from one of our other HDForum members (it was like new) and replaced the factory original on my old 2003 EG. It was time for a replacement after ten years of service, including a round trip over the Alaska Highway. I can see a whole new world out there now!

got at transporter - ONTRAC - for NOT taking the effort to look at the shipping label - grab my last name and look it up on the Gate entry directory to get access to the gated community I live in. Now I got to wait longer to get my biketronics retro kit and Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS in. so much for Amazon 2 day shipping...

Installed a Kuryakyn 1467 Push Button Fuel Door Latch on my old 03 EG. It replaces an HD lockable push button that quit working. The old HD lockable push button had a very small piece that you had to push on to get it open...a real pain with gloves. Yes, the Kuryakyn push button does not lock, but it sure is easy to work with gloves on and it looks great!

Dropped the bike off at the dealer. After MONTHS of complaining that the steering head bearings were loose, including a full service and once when having a recall taken care of, I finally got the new service manager to ride my bike and confirm that the steering head bearings are loose (tho they are at the tightness spec and fallaway is correct). He thinks there might be a new spec for bearing torque. We'll see this afternoon what the problem is/was.

Just put on a Lindby Multibar, easy install as there was nothing to remove since the prior bar was destroyed in a previous wreck.
