Put a piece of black reflective tape on the backrest.

Put V&H quiet baffles in my V&H Hi output pipes, installed the new V&H air cleaner
Vance Hines VO2 Air Cleaner Intake Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide 08-13 seems to run a lot cooler not a huge difference though in seat of the pants HP but the baffles did help increase backpressure maintaining more mid range power.
PITA to fit though!
Must say it does sound good though!

Snow in the forecast all next week...looks like this may be it for 2013's riding season.

Ordered another battery tender and a new cover. Time to start thinking about putting everyone to bed for the winter...

Yep I live in Iowa. Canceled my ride up to the Minnesota/Wisconsin border this weekend. We were heading up to Hastings then down to Prairie Du Chien along the mighty Miss. Too damn cold! Time to start the winter mods though Got my cyclesmith 13' apes already. Plan on doing different exhaust, air suspension, led lighting, bars, and maybe front fork upgrade. Stay tuned!

Had bike into local indy to check cam chain adjusters at 58K miles and found pads to be about 70% worn.

My thoughts went from pad replacement to cam update to deciding on a 95 inch build.

After lots of forum research and talking to the indy I decided on the following components for my 05 EG Classic;
- S&S .570 Easy Start geardrive cams
- new lifters, pushrods, intake
- bore cyls and add new pistons
- head work to be done at JPrecision
- comp ratio 10.1
- new Vance and Hines 2 into 2 header pipes with bungs for o2 sensors
- T-Max tuner

I hope I have made the right decisions?

I guess time will tell as riding season is all but over here in Edmonton.

Regards, Kevin

Had new rear tire mounted. It might be getting a little chilly, but I'm not giving up yet.

Installed Rush Big Louies with new Fuel Moto 2/1/2 head pipe. Runs and sounds a little different!

Definitely a great addition to an already great looking bike "motordog". The addition of the titanium gauges looks great too ... that's a mod I want to do soon.
