Name for a charcoal pearl SG? Sounds like 'Kinsgford' would be a natural...

Installed back rest and OilBud cooler. Very happy with both of them.

Today I finally started the full frame-off restoration of my Road King. Bought it from a guy who laid it down and let it sit so I am stripping it to the frame, powdercoating, and bringing it back.

Wish me luck!

"De-badgification" process complete. (Man, that Derby Cover was a beech...what kinda cement they use on that sucker?!) Also, removed that big ole chrome 'cow bell' horn cover.

Found a HD King Tour Pak on Craigslist about 1 1/2 hrs away in Red Hot Sunglow(Excellent cond.). My Street Glide is Ember Red Sunglow but I can at least finish out the riding season with it because its just a little darker. I think I got a great deal at $450 with everything but the lock. Including the quick connect bracket on the pak.

Does any body know what is the best value of rear air shock I can in
stall on my 06EG to lower it about 3/4" (like a street glide)?

I swapped the stock 12" hand-adjustable shocks off of the '14 FLHXS for a set of new take-off 12" air shocks from an older model, installed the Burley lowering blocks to drop it as low as I could... (blocks won't work with coil-overs)

Then took the stock 12" hand-adjustable shocks from the '14 FLHXS and put them on my '14 FLHTK, and put the stock 13" air shocks on the shelf...

So 2 mods for the price of one!
