What did you do to your bagger today?

She runs pretty damn good ... of course I only had the chance to ride it home yesterday from the office ... 5 miles. The torque is really nice and with the pulley it comes on really quick. I had the front tire slightly dancing in 1st and 2nd without the bags on.
The cams have a more noticeable lope at idle than the 254's that were in there, a little more valve train noise and there is a noticeable louder exhaust note. All in all, she was a pleasure to ride, not too loud and the power comes on nice and smooth and controlled. It will be a great touring bike!
The next three days is rain, rain & rain so I won't be able to really get some miles on her until next weekend. My fingers are crossed for nice weather.

Nice lookin' bike, Brian! Gotta love that FM 107" build... and with the 30-tooth sprocket, those 777s really come on strong.
My oldest brother lives in Augusta, traded-in his 2011 Road Glide Ultra for a 2013 Ultra Limited on Friday.
I've heard from him (more than once) how it's been pouring rain the past couple days.
He had to trailer it home, from Atlanta and has only ridden his BRAND NEW bike twice now, about 15 feet each time. LOL
Of course, here in Minnesota, we got more snow last Friday, so your rain really doesn't bother me.
Ride safe... my experiences have been that those cagers down in GA are crazy; possibly blind too!!

Seriously, I don't see that many Road Kings out on the roads up here. There are a lot of Street Glides, but there's a reason for that!!
I've been looking at getting a 2nd (project) bike, and have found a couple different 2003-05 FXST's out there.
Now we're talking about some uniquely rare Harley riding.... no hard bags!?!?!?

I have actually been to Augusta to buy a Camaro street/drag car back in January 2011 that I since sold to fund the Street Glide. I feel for your brother ... a brand new bike and pouring rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I feel the same having a brand new motor build sitting in the garage. By the way, you can keep your "snow in May"! Growing up in New England, I have had my fill of it.
Yep, those cagers are blind here, but I am well in the 'Burbs away from Metro Atlanta and I am more of a mountain rider than a staight line rider so they don't bother me as much.
By the way, nice numbers in your 106" and ride safe in return!
