Got the Road King stripped down for paint and service. I will post some pics when its all done!

 

How have you felt about your switch over to progressive?? Which ones did you go with?

 

Ol Lady and I took the bagger out to take care of a few things a little over 200 miles so far today hunting out who will make my custom bars on the Ultra Classic.... No bar out there has satisfied my canyon needs on a bagger.

 

Put on the 944 shocks, added the King tour pak, HD LED head light and new tail light.

 

Took off inner fairing to get painted. Can't wait to get it back freshly painted.

 

Worked some compound on to the paint. Will wax later today.

 

I just ordered a set of chrome Rush Big Louie mufflers for my bike. Looking forward to installing them when I get them.

 

I really like the Big Louie's ... let us know what you think of them. I have been told they are very, very quiet and are actually quieter than stock ... that's why I have not replaced my Bassani's with them. I love the sound of my Megaphones, nice and deep, I just hate how they look.

 

My bike is box stock with the Cat still in the head pipe. I called Rush and they said to use the 2.50 baffle. The 2.50 baffle will be a little more rumble at idle and cruising at highway speed. They should have a nice sound when I get on it.

Rush said, the 2.25 baffles would be as quiet as the stock mufflers with the Cat.

I'm looking forward to a little more rumble.

P.S. I ordered the slash up so the slash will be inline with the bags.

Added info. Rush also has a 3.00 baffle you can use with the Cat for more rumble.

 

In the last week, I have added a C&C seat, PM mirrors, front axle nut covers, and 3 bag pouch.
