Been a minute since I last posted, but....today, I replaced a worn clutch cable, installed my PM Fairing Mirrors AND FINALLY INSTALLED MY TW-222 cams. Sounds mean, but didn't take it out for a spin as its drizzling 2am and most notably, I just polished off my 8th beer. A long day to roll around and bend over on the garage floor with 3 broken ribs...

Finally. Yesterday I got my RKC to the dealer for a much needed Progressive monotube front lowering suspension, Heritage bars and chrome front end kit. I like working on my bike but for this job I wanted the pro's. My dealer is great, Killer Creek HD in Roswell GA. They had a sale in January on the chrome front end kit; 15% off parts and labor which they extended for me. Since I was doing the lowering suspension anyway, the chrome was almost a no-brainer. Killer Creek picked up the bike at 10am (free of charge) and I road it home at 5pm same day. It looks great and rides great. I love the bars! Today I will hopefully get my new, take-off 12" Street Glide shocks mounted up to level off the bike.

Last week I also got my seat back from Mean City Cycles. They do great work and have great customer service.

Can't thank this forum enough for all the advice and opinions. I used a lot of that info to help me decide on these improvements.

More to come now that the "big wallet hit" is behind me. Or should I say below me! (seat & suspension!)

took off the ugly *** "bumper" on the front fender of my new Ultra. love the bike, it rides great, all 35 KM/22 miles, I have been able to ride between all this dam snow! installed my old windshield bag on the wife's bike. started them both up and rolled them out , after shovelling the snow and then threw in Nickelback in the CD player. at least it was productive.

Oh yeah, I also installed a Drag Specialties solo seat with backrest
and round horn cover. Too early to tell, but I'm liking the seat so far.

Drag Specialties part 76636B4 $29.95 on Ebay or Amazon.
BTW, Harley Davidson has a round horn cover available. (looks similar to the DS)
I saw it on the 2013 catalog, page 675 part number 68189-07 $38.95

Put Chrome and stainless lower brake line on, Chrome lower forks and added progressive MonoShock Insert to front forks, By By fork oil and springs welcome stiffer suspension. rides a lot better in the twistys and brakes dont "dive" as much. Sent a set of front calipers off to chrome shop cant wait to get them back to compleat chrome front end.
