What did you do to your bagger today?
I modified it by punching a hole through the center of the foam then added a cross drilled tube down into the foam filter.
that forces the mixture through the foam to escape instead of just bouncing off the flat surface of foam at the top.
I also added a T fitting and a small matching K&N filter to help dispel pressure that may still be too much for the small catch can.
The catch can is lower than the filter, so any residual left in the assembly after shutdown will still come back into the can.
Thanks for the reminder to clean it out after an oil change.

My initial catch can setup made a hell of a mess because the holes were too small.

Got the front fender installed.
Bled the brakes
Need to connect the fender light wiring.
I was able to ride it around the block in our complex.
Starts right up and runs great.
Doesn't shift properly though.
Clutch is adjusted.
Fluids are all new, to spec.
Finding neutral at idle is near impossible.
It works smoothly if not running.
Trans may be damaged, as it only has 3 lower gears.
This could also be related to why it doesn’t give up neutral while idling…
Nothing worthwhile is easy, and nothing easy is worthwhile.

I found the top 3 gears!
They were hiding right there in plain sight... all I had to do was rock the bike while sitting on it.
I can enjoy my coffee now instead of stressing over what the cause could be.
I do still need to resolve the neutral at idle issue though.
This thing is almost ready to hit the streets again!

With all my vast experience in these matters (not) I have found that my bike favors the synthetics when it comes to finding neutral. No idea why, but it does. Having said that, its still a PITA to find neutral when its running. Not too big a deal since I rarely use neutral unless I am parking, then it just snicks right in, when the engine is off.
Am convinced its an HD thing. My sportster was the same way.

I was advised against using synthetic for the Energy One performance clutch that I have.
All tech info recommends using the Formula+ fluid from H-D, so that's what I have used on this clutch pack since day 1.
This clutch is significantly stronger (harder to pull) than the standard/factory versions, so I added the reduced effort pivot assembly to avoid the stress on my hand over time.
I suspect this addition to the equation is why I'm having issues w/ proper adjustment using the factory technique.
I backed out the screw a full turn after the initial 1/2 turn setup resulted in substantial drag.
I'll do it all again and see if I get the same results.

Installed the S&S GNX mufflers with the db reducers.. Hopefully that will improve some of my low/mid torque issues..

Do they interfere with your lean angle?
They are 4.5 inch same as the RCX mufflers that were on it. Never have drug them..
