Weather here in Missouri is starting to go south.. I got the bike washed up and ready to put on the lift for the winter. Time to take it apart and spend some money!

3-hole change today after a long trip and about 6000 miles. Bike is a mess, maybe I'll clean it Thursday......or not. Some good riding weather this week in NY

Finished installing a set of HK Tallboy handlebars. Not that hard but these better work (they do) 'cause I wouldn't want to do it again.

Does the front inner fairing have to come off the do the springs? Seems like heavier oil would make em even stiffer though. Anyone ever gone with emulators or intiminators (I think thats what they are called), short of going cartridge?
When I rebuilt my forks at 50k, I added the Ricor Intiminators (with lighter weight fork oil as recommended) and I am happy with them 25k miles later. More responsive with barely any brake dive compared to the stock setup.

A little before that I went from the air shocks to the 13” standard hand adjustable shocks. They were free to me from someone that upgraded, and definitely an improvement from the stock air shocks.

I have never ridden a bike with Legends or Ohlins or other suspension setup, so I don’t know what I’m missing. Probably a good thing.
