True that...! Once everything was installed I fired it up an was surprised on how mellow it was at idle. I then blip'd the throttle a lil and was like "oh sht"...!

Just bought some lowers with the 6.5 speaker boxes! Going to get the inner side of the fairing and the pods painted black next weekend. Now I need to figure out what 6.5" speaker to buy..I rather run off the headunit for a couple months till I can afford a nice high end amp (400ish?) to run all 4 speakers. Any ideas?

I really like the J&M 4 channel one just cant spend that much dough right now. I rather run off the stock headunit HK for now and maybe upgrade at the Lone Star Rally and have J&M perform the install.

EDIT: Ahhhh also installed the 7.25 J&M's in the fairing and think they are WAYYYY better/louder than than stock speakers. I think they would also sound way better with that amp! JOHN..any deals at the RALLY?

Greg

My wife and I rode it 213 miles through the Black Hills where we live with some friends from Michigan. Good to see you again Mike and Joe.

Did a quick 30 mile cruise around the area before leaving for Ocean City, MD for a few days. It sounds awesome with the big shots, can't wait to get my thundermax and intake on when I get back.

Unfortunately had to fix a crooked headlight bulb, not sure exactly how it happened but made it really hard to see after dark!
