Getting ready for a multi-state ride in 3 weeks. Oil changed, air filter cleaned, new spark plugs, ( I believe plugs may have been originals from 2014) reset shocks settings for putting tour pack back on , checked and tightened sh^% and took a close look at my brake pads. Brakes feel fine but the pads are looking thin. Tires probably have 5000 miles left on 'em but, F*&%^ it! Purchased new tires and when they come in the brakes will be done at the same time. Now i'm just getting impatient waiting for Sept 6 to arrive. . Most of my routes are already planned out

Figured out a way to secure the PV3 tuner to the bag tether…
I used Dynojets’ mounting bracket and an adapter from my GoPro camera gear.
I like it.
It’s the little, personalized details that make modifying a bike fun for me.

I made a list of everything I can think of that still needs to be addressed, and tried to put it in order for simplicity… damn, there’s still a lot left to do.

That sucks.
Still on backorder?? I had a set of the bronze on order from Utah Harley that were on backorder for 12 months, then they cancelled the order when the hammer came down about out of state ordering. I might just get in line again.

Yep backordered until Jan of 2024, assuming it won't get pushed back but as we all know it will about 4 or 5 times before I see it. I inquired about the part number from HD's OEM parts page and see that it's a different number than what's listed on the P&A page (43300840 vs 43300674). Not sure what the difference is but the ebay listing I bought said it was a stock takeoff so it should be fine.

The part number difference might indicate the bronze instead of black? Thinking out loud here...

I traded mine in. Gone is the 2011 Ultra Classic. I now have a 2021 Road Glide.

Couldn't be happier. I also ordered a heel shifter, new floor boards and a backrest, but don't have them yet.

I didn't know the bronze wheels were so sought after. I just stripped mine and coated them not giving it a second thought. If I had known, I'd have sold them and got myself black rims to strip instead.
