The tires are new Metzler Cruisetech and the stock take offs are against the wall right behind the bike.
The old bike had the second set of stock tires on it. Never again.
Brushed the SNOW off it!
yep, in late June. When we were here 2 years ago on the same week, it was 103 degrees. 26 when we got up this morning in the Sawtooths...

For exhaust, I have a Bassani 2 into 1 mid length in black chrome sitting inside the house along with the Saddlemen SDC seat with blue stitching.

Sorry, to clarify I meant what tire was your buddy running? That you found a crack in
hotter than **** back home, 100+ every day, not a lot better here in s Florida. But at least it ain't snowing!
Stock Dunlop tires. 8k miles on the bike and it's a 2021 Road King. It's a new fear unlocked I've never thought to terrified of. Not on new tires anyway.
That's bad Gerts, glad you guys found it. Your cicle is looking good so far!

yeah it wasnt something i paid much attention to until your thread posting after your wreck. on a positive note, last time i rode with my wife a few weeks back (she doesn't go very often with me) i had the bike up on jack to adjust my ohlins and i actually inspected the tires pretty closely. figured might as well take the extra couple minutes especially with my wife going out with me

Same here. A good reminder to check tires more often. They look good, no cracking etc.... and maybe in another 5k miles I'll switch tires
After Americade my bike was stored in an upstate shed for the last 3 weeks. Life gets in the way sometimes. Finally picked it up yesterday and promptly put 300+ miles on 'er
