No. I'm staying with the cable. The guy I bought it from is going to swap out the hydraulic cover for a cable cover before he ships it.

Good deal I wouldn't mind upgrading my 04 RKC to a six speed but I would wait until my 5 speed goes. Maybe you wouldn't mind posting some follow up posts if you do the removal and install yourself and a ride report after? Will the 6 speed just bolt up with no other mods to do?

Drained the trans and refilled with HD Heavy Synthetic 80w140. Hopefully that’ll get some of the loud clunk out of this beast when upshifting 1-4.

Put it in the Primary, too. Stuff works great, helps a bit with clunks and neutral shifts.

I've been looking for the tour pack decal that goes below the light. Couldn't find one anywhere including the microfiche parts diagrams. Decided maybe they painted them on at the factory.?
I was discussing it with my wife and showed her a picture. She says she can make one of those...5 minutes in her lady lair and shows up with this.

Pulled the heat shields so I can get them re-painted.

I took the tour pack off 2 weeks ago and plan on keeping it off until October.........maybe. Depends on how well I do on the week long trip with just a bag.

Gave 'er a good cleaning yesterday then put on vinyl stickers to the saddlebags. I ordered color matched heat shields that you can see on one of these pictures for $100. Amber Whiskey color matches perfectly. Also one of my saddlebags is scratched up pretty good. Long, dumb story and I cannot get the scratches out
