What did you do to your bagger today?
Hilarious Gerts but probably not far from the truth knowing that state.

No, not at all! I think the lights look killer and it's one of my favorite looking bikes on here. I think having the lights is fine as long as they aren't used in traffic, and certainly to garner attention or make people move. That would be a violation. However, I am not aware of all of California's over-reaching legislature and for all I know, having the lights in a box on the shelf in a closet is a felony there.
I think that taking them off or being made to is the real crime here.

I was looking into an old Police Road King for a while 6 months ago as a second bike. PD's just about all use RK's around here and I had a connection in Nassau PD. It's also the bike I really learned to ride on so, I have a soft spot for RK's. Decided not to spend the money. Really, I only wanted a beat up but good running bike for practicing slow maneuvers in parking lots and a different ride, just because. Having an upstate house , it would be awesome to always have a bike there. I like doing the slow speed maneuvers to keep my skills up but, when I push it hard I do worry about damaging my UL. **** happens no matter how good you think you are

Not necessarily "to my bagger". But set up the bike with my Insta 360 X3 . Tried it in a few spots on the bike but decided on the handle bar mount for now. All done in the garage. Have to get it out tomorrow maybe to see how it handles the HD vibrations. My GoPro smoothed it out well but this is on an extended selfie stick. Seems it might vibrate and shake. I'll know soon enough. Going Sunday to a NYC Toys for Tots ride that gets easily over a thousand bikes. "Ride to the Rock". Looking forward to getting some good video and photos.

Gerts, I gotta admit on 99% of things, you would be right, about CA, but it seems for the most part, they tend to leave bikes alone. Unless you are preparing for take off, then that's a whole nuther story. Lol, thinking of that, I watched a youtube video the other day, of an CHP in a "chase" on the freeway, in SoCal. The "speeder" was riding a KLR. Funniest "high speed chase" I have ever watched. The idiot rode to his house and actually looked surprised when they pinned him to the ground.

I just changed from a Freedom Shields Windsplitter 22" tall by 22" wide to a Memphis Shades Slim 17" tall by 18" wide. Now I just have to test ride it. The Memphis Slim offers adjustment up and down and forward and backwards which is outstanding!
The Freedom Windsplitter is the top picture.

That's the Freedom Windsplitter I'm going to be selling most likely after I demo the new Memphis Slim.
