Looks great.
I realize that your pack is aftermarket, but in your search for a wrap around pad, did you happen to learn the difference between a newer ('14+) pad and the older version?
I'm wanting to upgrade to the '14+ on my factory '07 tourpack if it will fit.

Unfortunately, I don’t know, aside from different mounting points

Well done. If it had a logo on it, one might think it to be original..
Adding ANY oil cooler will help some; theoretically the larger the better.
And of course, nothing will help to its potential unless the extra oil capacity is considered.

@Cornpipe I coated the quick disconnect mounts. That was completed just 10 minutes ago. The blacked out strut covers are in place and the wiring was cleaned up a tad. I threw the bag on to check out the blacked out hinges and reflectors while on the bike. I also installed the top covers and fairing skirt in the front. The sliders are done and I'm hoping to get the front end finished tomorrow, to include greasing the bearings and setting the bearing preload.

I noticed the passenger seat strap bracket fastener is missing in this pic. When removing the bracket, it's necessary to reinstall the fastener. Not only does it secure the bracket, it also secures the front of the saddlebag support to the frame.

Lookin good Gerts! Big difference all around. Wait until you get the Trask derby cover and other goodies on.

You are 100% correct. What is the bolt size? I haven't been able to find them and they been off for a year. Caused a rattle and I only recently discovered what was causing it.

Cornpipe, I'm super excited to see it come together. I love the chrome engine in the blacked out bike.

Onto what I did to my bagger today. I rebuilt the forks after blacking out the sliders. I increased the weight of the oil for a more firm feeling ride. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to feel it. The front was way too soft, so I'm really hoping this is an improvement.

The forks are back in and everything is torqued to spec. I did a dry fit of the axle and it slides in by hand smoothly, so I'm happy with the alignment too.
