What did you do to your bagger today?
Stopped for dinner, to eat with my buddies on the way home. Dinner was the second half of lunch. I put it in my saddlebag along with a gatoraide for later.
Pulled pork and chips. Was very tasty. Both times, lol.
This poster tells a lot about them. If you ever ride this way, they are a must see. Just north of San Simeon, near Hearst Castle.
My buddies, snoozin on the beach. These guys are BIG. Males are 3-5000lbs and up to 15ft long. Hard to tell from this pic.
This is the picture of River Inn's chairs in the water, I mentioned in previous post.

Yes hwy 1, PCH, Pacific Coast Highway, all the same. Takes me about 30 min to get from home to the PCH, at Morro Bay. It can be in the 90's here at home, and low 60's there. Well worth the drive, or ride.

Not to give a false picture of what the gas prices are. We tend to average about $1 more a gal than neighboring states, which still pisses me off. Mostly, lately, 91 octane is about $6.25 a gallon. Still somewhat affordable for me, at least for short trips.
Been putting in a new V111. So darn hot here, 107 today, it’s taking more days than I want. Plus a couple new systems to wire. Going slow and steady
…put the darn brake pedal in too high…heat stroke? Lol

40,000 Mileage Service
I stop at a local Indy and ordered a new back tire on June 24th. They were going to call when it came in, and was told to expect about 2-3 weeks. Last Thursday I hit the 40,000 mile mark and since it was a bit crappy out Saturday I decided to go through the 40,000 mile check list and hit everything I could. In getting just about everything, except for the rear axle nut torque (knowing the tire would be replaced) I completed my list. While doing so, I pushed the bike some to gain access to the valve stem and found I may have hit the limit on the tire. The pick shows one of the areas of the tire. There may have been more, but did not really care as this was my sign to keep it parked. On Monday I stopped at the shop and the tire "just came in". Made the arrangements to get it there Wednesday and all is good. Had a American Elite installed, see how this one goes. Got 17,000 out of the stocker. Installed a Bridgestone H50 and got 20,600 on it. I really liked the Bridgestone H50 but could not find another one (may have stopped making them?). But since there was quite a bit of good comments on the AE, I went for it. I have the AE installed on the front and it was night and day over the stock! As a side note, riding the bike to the shop knowing what I knew about the tire.. was real tentative and cautious and felt very squirrely!
