Default Finished my Black Beauty

Finished my blacked out look with detachable tour-pak, Deutsch quick disconnects under the seat and coax quick disconnect for the CB. Takes no more than 10 minutes to go from two-up to solo.

Very nice!

Who makes that seat/rear compartment setup? Looks like a Corbin I once had on a sportbike.

I popped out a rear baffle on the left OE muffler and drilled a hole thru the right rear baffle. Took the SE mufflers that were fitted off and reinstalled the modified OE cans. Pulled out the PCV, reinstalled some Xied's, reconnected the O2 sensors and dropped a standard intake back on with a high flow filter. The bike now runs very well. I think it was a lack of back pressure with low down power and poor idling. I had to really rich en up the PVC to overcome it all and stop the back firing. It feels like I still have the same go for normal riding and have picked up around 70K (45 miles) extra with a tank of gas. The throttle pack also gives it a little bit extra when taking off with the near std trim.
All my mates are getting big speeding tickets and losing their licenses, so I've slowed down and am going go smell the road kill, actually hear the radio for a change and enjoy the view All the removed mods were good for high end running but did bugger all around town except chew up gas and make a lumpy idle. Maybe I'm getting old and getting over going fast. I think my "take no prisoners" on the road attitude has finally gone, along with my hair. I'll see how long it lasts for before I sell the take offs LOL...
