Epic day to ride in NC today. Rode up to Banner Elk to check on my friends mountain house in Eagles Nest. His landscaping is 80% done.

I’m a donk and did my 20k service (excluding fluids which I’ll do tomorrow) 2 nights before I left on a 2,000+ mile ride and noticed my rear pads were very low. They had enough life to survive the trip but I was a bit disappointed in myself for putting myself in the situation. Got home yesterday and just changed the rear pads today. First time doing it and everything went smooth. Toughest part was making sure the pads stayed in place while putting the caliper back on the rotor. Ready for a beer. Happy Father’s Day to all.

I agree, in my youth , LOL , I would fly there to snow ski with my wife. It is truly magnificent country.
