What did you do to your bagger today?
I just uploaded a stage I tune on the RKS using my new SE Pro Street tuner. For the money it's a great device and can actually do a lot more than I thought it could. I'll need it again after I do the torque cam install this week.

Leavin' for an AZ loop tomorrow, all oils changed, filters, etc...and put the 9" Windsplitter on, looks like we are headed for weather the first couple days

Might have to check that out too. I'm in the Shreveport area and my wife has been talking about Broken Bow as a destination. About three hours in the saddle is her limit so SE Oklahoma is within that radius

I installed a USB charging port on my Road King. It's needed for when my iPhone screen is turned continuously on while using it for GPS on long trips. (I'm not a fan of mounting a cheap plastic Chinese thing on the handlebars, but can't do much else with the Road King).
I used this charger: -->
I tapped in to an unused wire by the steering neck used for the optional chassis cooling fan. This is a purple wire that goes to an unused white Molex plug. See -> https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...road-king.html
This wire is protected by a 20 Amp fuse in the fuse block behind the left hand side panel. (Fuse #4). It is also switched on and off with the ignition so there's no worry about leaving it on. I found a ground behind the headlight.
It works well. The voltmeter is a nice touch. I compared it with a real voltmeter. It's close... to within about 2/10 of a Volt.

In my older age, it’s practicality , function over looks. That doesn’t look bad at all. The profile is great, hope you get many years of use out of it.

Yep its 5 and a half hours from my house in pollock Louisiana and a little passed wife's riding limit but she agrees it would be worth it. You will enjoy yourselves

Talimena scenic drive
Try to find time to ride the Talimena scenic drive, hwy 1 from 271 to Mena. We have a place in Antlers and it's one one of my favorites. Also check out Chucks classic Cycles, great folks and the best Philly cheese steak.

Great suggestions - thanks!
Installed a Saddlemen Carbon-Fiber Road Sofa on the Road King. The Indy shop I use has a demo program. They told me to try it for a couple days. I only had a chance to put around 75 miles today. Tomorrow we’re going to put on a lest couple hundred miles. So far I like the firmness of the seat. Also I like the riding position. Time well tell. I forgot to mention it’s a new seat.
