engine vent case mod - good bye oil in intake
seen this done on this forum off and on. basically got to thinking I do not want to suck in hot air into my intake, didn't want to suck in oil (I keep it low but it still sucks it in) etc, etc. So got a kit that was supposed to work on a twin cam...but it really wasn't designed for stage i intakes. so I put a metal cut off blade on my table saw and cut the case vent bolt barrels off my stage one back plate. used a little rubber to fill a small hole and mounted the kit up. I'm going to get a clamp to secure the end of the filter to one of the push rod tube lower cover base bolts. took it for a spin and I like it. I have an extra back plate if I decide I want to undo all this. The filter does get hot so there's definitely a lot of air movinging in and out. Shipped the 18" front / 16" rear 2010 HD Airstrike wheel set and rotors I bought off craigslist last week for $400 (takeoffs from dealer with tires) to Impress Plating and Polishing in California so they would ship out a set of chromed wheels, polished rotors and lower legs to me so I can get rid of the spokes......... scheduled for install, 7/11/12 while I am out of town with the family.
My wife is sure glad..........I've been driving her nuts looking at wheels

Dropped everything off at my Indy for the swap, also getting Progressive fork springs and chrome spacers
(refrigerator sparked an entire kitchen remodel
finally got around to putting the new laminate countertops in, total rebuild from the cabinets up, new dishwasher, new range, new sink and faucet....... Hope the wheels look as good as the kitchen)

Removed the tour pack installed a fender rack and got a solo seat. Trimmed the wind screen down some as it cut across my vision. Vacation next week and if the honey do list isn't to long plan on getting some decent miles in.

Went for ride, found security "key" on all the time. Retrived codes, right and left turn signals.
Had installed CD led lighting kit a week ago, everything funtioning properly.
Remembered, I left the "stabilizer" off because leds were flashing with no problem.
Installed "stabilizer", cleared codes. Rode bike, no more "key" while riding.
Goes to show ya, everthing has a reason.
Also recieved and installed Desert Dawgs.
