What did you do to your bagger today?
I am getting ready for a road trip next week, so today I put the tour pack on, checked all fluids, tire pressure, bolts, etc.
I found one of the air filter mounting bolts was loose - applied loctite and torqued. Also found my crossover exhaust bracket had cracked, so rigged a temporary fix from some pipe hanger strap until I can get a new one from Cobra.
After that, I rode in to the local dealer to look at helmets since my half helmet was now 8 years old and the lining wearing out. They had the LS2 Rebellion in my size, and it was the same price as online, so went ahead and bought it. Stopped at a local hamburger place (Hank’s on Route 66) for a late lunch, then took the long way home.
Tour pack on and ready to go
Broken crossover bracket
Temporary fix - there really wasn’t any movement here so not sure how important it is, but didn’t want to just not have any support.

I've been using a Widder Lectric-Heat vest and gloves since the mid '90s. I was never really happy running the electrical wire around myself to interconnect the vest with the gloves and thought it was about time to upgrade. I picked-up Gerbing 12V Men's G4 Heated Gloves and a California-Heat 12V Jacket Liner.
To connect the gear to the 12-volt system on my motorcycle, I installed the Gerbing 12V Battery Harness and the Gerbing 12V Panel Mount.
To control the temperature, I purchased the Gerbing 12V Dual Temperature Controller (Wireless Ready) and the Gerbing 12V Dual Wireless Remote. It seems like a pretty trick setup. I'll keep the temperature controller in my jacket pocket and mount the wireless controller on my motorcycle using a Ram Mount. The dual controller will allow me to control the heat in two different zones. One being the jacket and the other being the gloves.
I already have a RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Ball Base, so I just needed a RAM Double Socket Arm and RAM Ball Adapter with AMPS Plate. I used some Velcro (hook & loop) to attach the wireless remote to the Amps plate. I also added two zip ties just for extra safety. Using the Ram mount system, I'll attached the Gerbing wireless remote when I'm using the heated gear, otherwise I'll just leave it in the garage.

Hi Panayiotis,
I don't have the paint code but HD calls it White Sand Pearl and as such being a Pearl the color may differ from various angles and light. From the rear in bright sunlight to shadows I am told it can even look like a very light sand/beige color. Looking directly at it in bright sun light it has a Silver tint to it. Inside light it just looks White. When photographed it can look bright gloss White, flat white or even a metallic Tan. I have been searching for the color code but have yet to located it.

@wilburbill I see a sweet 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle in the corner of the garage. That was was my first car that I ever bought. Had the small block 307 in there that was about all a 16-yeal old could handle. Ripped that 2-barrel off one afternoon and replaced the intake manifold with an Edelbrock and slapped a 4-barrel Rochester given to me by a buddy. Since it had no air cleaner I just drove without it that way for a few days. At least until my Pops heard me.
Came home one day rip-roaring up the street and my Dad, who's out working on a neighbors car says, "take that damn 4-barrel off before I finish here or that ride is mine." It was fun while it lasted!
