First time I sucked fluid out of the bleeder with a syringe and tube, and kept refilling the clutch master. Second time I sucked all the fluid out of the clutch master then pushed fresh fluid into the bleeder till the master was filled. Then pumped it four or five time and bled it, repeatedly.
I see the new softtails have the shifter linkage goes thru the primary case. Much shorter linkage in the back that way, but maybe a PITA to maintain, don't know. I need to go heim joint on my linkage as well.
Getting into my spare engine that’ll eventually be swapped into my 2003 Electra Glide. It’s a stock 88 but will be getting a stroker crank, big bore and plenty more. Thinking 124 at the moment but we’ll see
So just a minor upgrade then huh, from 88 to 124? Think you will notice the improvement? Ha ha
Installed lighted hand controls, Memphis Shades hand guards, Siouxicide Choppers Sissy Bar and luggage rack and started installed the Empire foot boards, shifter peg and brake pedal. Then took it for a quick test ride.
