Default Said I would never...

But I couldn't resist the deal I got. Plus I'll need the extra room for our trip to Alaska we're planning.
Never liked the wire thing Harley makes. This is more like a piece af art. Added the riser kit today.

I went to a parking lot and practiced slow speed turning and maneuvers. Then I put my stock windshield back on and loaded the bike for a long trip.

Installed TP billet rocker boxes. Not quite done, still need to button up the rear cylinder. I'm hoping to quiet the valvetrain down a little. I built the motor up to 107 with tw8 cams last winter, and the cams have a justifiable reputation for being noisy.

I'm gonna get a foam noodle, cut it's length of the width of the seat, then sew a black towel around it and mount it under the flap that hangs from the tour pak. I tried it with a tennis ball container that is that size and it placed the flap in a postion that hides the mount and makes it look like nothing has changed. Moving the tour pak back made a big difference in how much room the old lady has.
OK where is this drawing you mentioned?

no, but watch that big sucker. They have a tendency to leak more oil through the oil bypass than others. I had to fix mine by using form a gasket around all contacting metals.
