So its going to be 16 degrees with the windchill. I always subtract 10. Be safe out there. I remember those days but no more. That's cool about Indian Larry mad skills in that guy. I need to learn welding one day. Good on you for knowing how to do all that.

No cam. I'm old. 107 can kill me just fine. Doubt I'll ever do a cam. I'll ride extra stock until warranty runs out. Then a breather and louder pipes. FP-3. Probably that's all.
Honestly, the Street Glide is so much more than the Street Bob, I'll be stoked for a while.

Big plusses for me are Cruise Control and Batwing fairing. Rear swing arm is not on the tranny. Fatter front wheel. Bags.

Wind chill be damned! It only affects biological material and when you get down to it, it's impossible to drop below ambient temperature anyway. Besides, I have leather top to bottom lol.

My father in law taught me to weld. Wanted to make sure his daughter married a man, so he made me one.

Papers are all signed. Bike arrives Wednesday. They make you ring a ships bell and the whole place cheers.
They'll do my custom stuff and deliver like Saturday-ish.
I guess today's my new birthday!

Out the door they offered me $689 Simonize Ceramic job. Is that worth the money? I can still call and get it done.
I know Ceramic is a good thing to do, but the price caught me off guard. We could have built that in like the other upgrades.

Like everything else it has its pros and cons. I watched some utube videos to get a better idea about it and I personally can't get past the cost of ceramic coating.

I got a price of $600+ according to how much they had to take apart.

Since I did the engine mods, I decided to install a bigger oil cooler. I ordered a Jagg cooler and installed it today. Since most of my riding is highway with no stop and go traffic, I got the cooler without the fan.

I haven't done anything to my Street Glide The weather here has sucked all month, I am currently suffering badly from P.M.S. (parked motorcycle syndrome). I don't know how you guys up north can stand parking your bike for four to six months. Last time I rode mine was New Year's Eve. Afternoon. At least we are almost done with January. It's about five weeks to Daytona and I can't wait.

Found a rubber end cap for the little stack behind carb backplate. So with that capped, I created an external head breather setup.

Ran the tube to the left side and thru a hole in the plate under the top engine stabilizer. Little K&N sitting there hidden behind horn.

K&N hidden behind horn mount

Head breather hose routing
Little by little and the rebuild will eventually be done.
