Gerts just FYI this guy makes awesome derby, timing, and horn covers.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't like bar and shield logos all over the bike. I liked the look of the Kahuna grips and the floor boards. I have the CVO gauges so that matches too, but those had the logo anyway.

I'm hoping to get the grips on the bike today or tomorrow. I work all week so anything I do is after hours. I also have some Custom Dynamics SMART taillights (they flash amber on turn) and the low profile bag lights with sequential amber for the turn signals also. Those should be in on Friday and will go on that night.

Finally got mine back together today

New heated grips work.
New shocks are on. Will probably dial them in some.
Fullsac inserts in my stock slip-ons look great, sound great.
Got a new tune from Fuel Moto for my de-catted head pipe

Time to ride later this week.

Everything I did is pretty much invisible except the long stem mirrors I added.

You can't go wrong with any product from CD. I have their lights front and back on the new bike. Its hard to get away from the Harley branding when you buy their products. They can place the HD or bar and shield in some pretty unique ways. I once had a pair of riding boots from them and counted 11 or 12 places they did just that. That was just one boot! 😆

Gonemad, what are the new shocks? I must have missed when you announced which ones you got.

I had Ohlins 777s (the base Ohlins for HD) on order but they appear to be on national backorder, so I canceled that order and bought some Bitubo Eye-talian shocks from DK Customs. They set up the preload, and the rebound damping is easily adjustable on the shock. Haven’t ridden it far enough to make an assessment, but the reviews on hdforums all are good.

It took about 2 hours to install the grips. That's a horrible job and I wish it on no man! I had to attach a line to the wires on the right and pull them out, attach ALL wires and pull them through again. My wife wanted to ***** with me while I was getting pissed, but I needed her help to reach inside the fairing, so pick your poison. Anyway, I tried them and they work. The grips are comfortable and they look cool.

It is indeed a gigantic PITA with a fairing, in my most humble opinion. I had my bars off last winter, changing bars twice, and heated grips were all on back order.

Those grips look good.
