Soooo should get the pipes back late next week.

His Vette in the center with no hood.
Why I don't do my own cutting and welding

Should be on the FEDEX truck heading south, then I can put the bike back together and install the V&H FP3, sometime next week, Jumping Jehoshaphat the cat is DEAD! and that pipe sure looks good!

Default In the shop!!!

Mine went into the dealership for service. Front brake lever was going stiff and became unpredictable - fine then stiff, fine then stiff. Tried flushing the brake fluid and it didn't resolve the problem. Oh well. Considering how backed up they are and the lack of parts...I'm probably done riding for the next month or so. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Completed a Tail/Stop/Turn conversion with LED inserts and red lenses to the rear turn signals.
I used 1157 style inserts and added a common 3 wire to 2 wire trailer light module to make it work.
Installed a bright red LED bulb in the center taillight, another LED bulb in the rear fender tip light.
Now the bike has all LED lighting. (and I need to update the photo below)

Installed a Trask CheckM8 vented transmission cover. Fairly straightforward install. Actually, the hardest part was transferring the transmission vent hose over from the stock cover to the new one.

A few shots of the module installed and functions.

Turn on/off cycle

All Brake, they look bright red to the eye, but red/orange to the camera

Curt 3 to 2 wire brake module (the red scotch lock connected were temporary, now gonej

Running tail

Plenty of room for mounting and convenient to the ground points

Connections made into the fender harness. Main harness left untouched.

Today I installed Drag Specialties 13" black heavy duty adjustable rear shocks on my 20 RKS. First test ride was very nice and a noticeable improvement! Not bad for $275.00 and free shipping.
