Yesterday ordered the color matched splitstream vent trim. The parts guy said 30 day lead time on factory painted parts. No big deal. Still can ride with out it. The only other thing that needs to be ordered paint matched now is the lower speaker pod covers. Maybe get to that and steoro upgrades this winter. Need to figure out something about a different seat first

Let me say it before OG&L does. The Crotchless Roadsofa best seat in the universe! 😜 Me personally I really like the HD Hammock seat the original owner put on my RKS. It's very comfortable and cost him $450.00. For me it came with the bike. 👍

I've been thinking about the road sofa the mustang low and the hd hammock seat. Been doing a ton of research. Just not sure about the best fit for 2 up riding comfort for the 2 of us. I know everyone's back side is different. It will be the next thing done though

Rode to Hillsborough to sell an extra seat that I had listed on here and CL.
Then stopped in Chapel Hill for lunch at Time Out and a couple pics on campus.

I stopped by a car show at Tobacco Road HD in Raleigh NC. Took a look around and grabbed a free beer!

When I got home I did a three hole fluid change at 61K miles then cooled off by the pool.

Where did you find the color matched splitstream vent trim??

I was going to get it from Advanblack, but they've discontined them.

I've been looking for it ever since, even contemplated buying one from HD and having it painted locally.

Went to ny local HD. That's the only place I could find to get it. My bike is scorched orange so trying to get it painted would be more of a hassle then just getting it at the dealer

Curious how the bikes are secured? Strap placement, chocks, etc? More pics please.

Installed these things..I am amazed how much vibrations they take out. They “float” on rubber washers. At first, I thought there was something wrong with them.

I never suspected that floorboards would make so much difference in riding comfort Lol There is zero vibrations from these and I feel like my feet are on two little clouds.
