Today I brought it home from the dealer's 1000 mile post-break in service. Glad to have her home again. Only changes made on this trip was switch over to synthetic oil in all 3 holes -- Red Line Heavy Shockproof in tranny.

We took the Baron for a ride. Stopped by the dealer to price some caliper parts.

I did the 10K service...Redline in all 3 holes. I actually did the entire checklist (well...almost). A test ride after getting finished revealed that it's easier getting it into neutral and the primary whine is lower. This is my first experience with Redline. I've been running Syn3 in all 3 holes.

+1 on the Redline all 3 holes. Never looked back. Even after 4k miles it still looks good and the mobile1 was dark looking.

Rode 75 miles. That puts me at 2,500 on the 12 RGC without the VR taking a dump.

Went by the dealer and demo'd a Sundowner seat for a couple hundred miles with the OL. OL liked the seat, but the extra padding/seat height made the backrest I had on the bike too low for her. Ended up going back to the dealer and they suggested a different pad on the backrest. Took it out for another ride with that setup. Bingo, we have a winner. $440 later we were riding home with a new seat and backrest pad. Next weekend we are putting it through the true test on a 4 day trip to the Texas hill country. I'm sure our asses will be happy.
