What did you do to your bagger today?
Hey folks,
I've got a 19 Ultra limited. Installed the Fuel Moto AC/DC air intake. I also installed the Fueling breather catch can, but I noticed since my breather bolts are still circulating oil blow-by into my intake. I needed to close that loop. The holes in the end of the breather bolts matched up to a #29 drill, and an 8-32 tap. I tapped the holes and red loctited 8-32 set screws into the holes to block the blow by and force it to use the fueling catch can. She runs great, no issues.
I am looking for a professional opinion on whether this could fail and mess up my engine. the pressure is pushing the screws in from the back of the screw, so I'm thinking there shouldn't be an issue, but has anyone done this or similar? I could find any solid breather bolts to swap it out, to avoid tapping.
Thanks!

If the catch can is running off of your breather bolts you need to be careful closing the venting holes into your induction module. The engine still needs to be able to vent pressure through those bolts. As long as the system can still vent excess pressure through the catch can, you should be fine.
If you're running the Feuling vented dipstick you can plug the venting holes in the induction module as long as you keep the vented dipstick and don't change it back to the regular dipstick. If some douche steals your Feuling dipstick, you can't simply put the old dipstick back. You're going to need to leave it cracked open, or you need another venting solution.
I’m an idiot, yes I meant vented dipstick. I was just reading about catch can, and well last thing in brain typed it instead of vented dipstick.
Good point on if it gets stolen and I need to run without.
Road a good 50 miles today and ran great, no performance issues.
thank you for the quick reply!

Installed an aftermarket tri-bar light on the Ole Lady's Road Glide.
Functions as running light & brake light.

After 8 1/2 years I finally got around to installing a Quick Detach Tour Pack and docking points to my 2013 FLHTK. The older I got the harder it was to get my leg over the tour pack. Developed a bad habit of sliding my boot over the front edge and eventually wore a spot on my seat. New leather seat, removable tour pack, backrest or nothing and back to throwing my leg over back to get on and off. A little pricey which is why I waited so long but to me it was worth the investment. Roughly 3 hrs and still need to finish the wiring and antenna relocation brackets.

A little late posting, but over the weekend I removed my tank emblems and put new ones on (see signature pic). I wanted a little more red on the bike to match the stitching in the "new to me" seat I had just bought from another member. I took the tank off to make sure they were plumb and level. While the tank was off and because I had removed the emblems, I waxed the tank. When I put it back on it was obviously shinier, so I proceeded to wax the entire bike. Spent about 5 or 6 hours washing, waxing and doing a basic maintenance check. It really came out nice I think. I likes it alot!
Swapped out the seat over the weekend. The tan really stands out well against the green. Bad Boyz Cyclez out of LA did a great job with the seat!

Pulled the non baffled fishtails off my 2003, with the true dual head pipes and built 95 they were insanely loud. Ordered a set of 4” Rinehart slip ons to take their place
They should be in within the next 7 days so riding the dyna in the meantime

I haven't been able to ride this season. (Eye surgery and knee surgery. Gettin' old stinks.) Instead, I've been tinkering with the bike. Did a complete detail job, then blacked out the forks with Plasti-Dip. I had already dipped the mirrors, the chrome on the fenders, the headlight trim, passing lamps and brackets, as well as a bunch of the chrome on the back end. Anyway, it wasn't an easy task for someone who can't bend one knee and had almost no vision in one eye for a few weeks. I hope by mid June I'll be back in the saddle. <fingers crossed>

I have a set of those, and the gaskets. I need to install them. Hopefully before my July Red Lodge trip, lol.
