Haha yeh I ordered it like that without having any real good pics for reference and normally would have never ordered pleated or that color leather. Something just said what the hell give it a shot.

What's up everyone! Not so much a "what did I do today" as much as it is so far. So I bought my 2020 SGS on 1/16. Since then I have done:

Rinehard DBX45's
Siouxicide Choppers 16 inch Sissy and Luggage Rack
Switched out my chrome bag latches for black
Black axle caps

Bought this week and waiting for its arrival:

Baddad Forward Controls
Baddad Floorboards
Arlen Ness 65 deg Velocity air cleaner
Powervision with tune from FuelMoto
Mustang Wide Tripper solo seat.

I have an Electra Glide Standard. Anyone installed a Mustang seat? Which is the best when you want about the same proportions as the standard one. Looking for backrest, same height and position.
Is the Mustang Solo Seat with Backrest 15" good or do I need the lowdown? I am 5 feet 9 with a 30" inseam. Also looking for a higher windscreen, I was thinking to go for the Bat Wing Fairing Windshield 15" clear as I want to eliminate all buggering and I understand that the Mustang Solo Seat sets you a bit higher up. Also hope to get better sound at highways speeds, and don't mind to look through the screen instead of looking over it. So flare windscreen an looking over is not exactly what I want. Bat Wing Windshield 12" clear might look a bit better but if the wind is better killed on the 15", definitely want that one.
Thanks in advance.

A little update. Got some Big Louie pipes on, and did some more de-chroming. The bag bars are gone, (did a little custom metal work for brackets), got rid of the rubber baby buggy bumpers on the front and rear fender. Up next is 14 inch apes, and some highway pegs. Looking for a seat for a taller rider too.

Not going to dig through my paperwork for item#'s, but I bought 2 Mustang solo seats for my '17 SGS. I'm about your height. The first one was a bit too wide, which made flat footing close, but not possible. The second purchase was narrower and a much better fit. Neither was a lowdown. I sold the wider one, currently have a Corbin solo on the bike, but plan to hold onto the Mustang for awhile. Crazy, but the Corbin causes my wallet to fall out. It's happened twice. Once a kind young woman picked it up and called out to me, second time I caught it. I have a note to remind myself not to put my wallet in my back pocket when I ride now. lol
(edit) Nice looking bike!

I just bought my Street Glide so I'm relatively new to this are of the forum. But the post about Mustang sest reminded me. This is the Mustang Super Solo w/ Driver backrest. I got the pillion too even though my wife rarely rides anymore. I'm hoping this will encourage her. This sest sat me higher ~1" and set me back about 1.5" or so. I didn't measure it. I'm 6ft, wear 34" inseam. I can flat foot and even stand with the seat, but I'd imagine 5'8" or shorter would cause problems. As far as comfort, it's a seat and I didn't think about it once on the few hunder miles I've ridden with it so far. That's a good thing. Other seats like to remind me they are there, but this one is great! Here are some pics:

While the bike is in getting her first 1000 miler, I decided to throw some long angled highpegs (O-Ring Styled) on the crashbars and added a Ciro Shock and Awe 2.0 to the bike. I also added a heel shifter.
