Took advantage of a gap in the weather to ride my Ultra to the local Indy for a routine service.

It's been raining here pretty much constantly for the past 2 weeks. Really over it now.

How are you liking the FBI 12" reduced reach bars? Definitely more pull back and better control lock to lock in the slow speed maneuvers?

If was actually a couple weeks ago now. Today? It's cold...Just checked on the battery tender.

A 5 star shop out of Lamar Mo, Nightwind Cycles I highly recommend if anyone is interested.

Well they feel great in the garage. 🤣 2 feet of snow on the ground now..... it'll be a couple months before I get to ride. Not only is the reach shorter, they also are 34" wide as opposed to 36 there is a little bit more wrist angle. They do feel perfect now.

Forecast was for mid 50’s and partly cloudy this afternoon. Got five miles out of town and drove right into rain.
DOH!

Installed the Arlen Ness air cleaner setup for the stock M8 bagger cover - I always liked the stock metal cover but the plastic "tumor" was fugly and that little filter was...well...little. Definitely feels a lot snappier on the throttle and picked up a little oomph. Looks better too IMO.

I added a custom saddlemen step up seat. Got it in just three weeks time so that was a little quicker than anticipated. Cork brown leather passenger area and gripper pleated on riders area and sides of passenger.. Wont get to break it in for a bit thanks to rain the next several days and I need to change the front tire anyway.
