One word of advice. The place gets absolutely slammed on the weekend in nice weather, and very busy even during the week at lunch hour. Arrive early if you can. Like most small NC restaurants, I find they update their FB page very regularly to keep up with hours, etc,

Not the bike, but the rider. Ordered myself a lined leather jacket. Not HD, since I can't/won't spend $600 for a similar jacket with the HD name. I would love to have an HD jacket, but $$$ count.

Anyway I had gotten this jacket in Large, but it was a bit too much, so took it back and a Med is on its way.

Debadged it. Took front fork reflectors off. Removed the OS seat strap and chrome brackets for it. Installed heel shifter. Installed HD wind spliter windshield. Washed and waxed it.

Default drop guards

Installed motorcycle drop guards.....seems strange to put drop guards on the crash bars , But hey what the heck, being a new returning rider I'm sure they will serve their purpose during my practice sessions

what do you mean installed drop bars on crash bars?
I have never heard of that.
I've been riding for 50 years, and I'm so glad I had crash bars on my 13 EG Ultra Classic on a road trip in August. Low speed on a lawn/dirt and my foot got hung up on a gopher mount/hole. The bike loaded with campgear fell over.
Thanks to the crash bars, the bike just rested on the front and rear crash bars, and protected all of the bike, not even one little scratch did the bike get.

They are good for those, "less than braggable" moments.

I've heard of something like that from one of Ride Like A Pro video about six weeks ago, a good idea but a little pricey.

Check out Jerry Paladino/Ride like a Pro on youtube

I found the video. Good stuff!
