What did you do to your bagger today?
Last Friday evening (10/2) my clutch cable broke. I was too far away with too many stoplights to limp it home, so had it towed. One of the local HD dealers (Route 66) was still open so I called hoping they would have a cable in stock. No such luck. Brian in parts was very helpful and took the time to try and track down an aftermarket cable but everything was back ordered. I ended up ordering the HD cable because it was in stock, but would be 5-7 days.
This past week has been near perfect weather and I had some days off where I was planning on riding. Instead I did some maintenance and upgrades that I had planned on doing when it got colder. I rebuilt the front forks (due at 50k) and added Ricor Intiminators to hopefully improve the front suspension a little. This was my first time doing the forks - fairly straightforward but getting the caps back on was the hardest part.
I changed brake pads, changed the engine oil and primary, then drained the transmission and got everything ready to change the clutch cable. I didn’t completely remove the exhaust but had to take off the heat shields and loosen everything to get access to the lower bolts.
The cable came Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately I had to work Thursday and Friday and had plans both evenings, so finally got to it today. Got the new cable installed and adjusted, then my wife reminded me we had a wedding to attend this afternoon. Finally got everything back in place and tightened about 11pm. Tomorrow I will actually get to ride....

Not on the bike, but purchased a universal Sena helmet clamp kit, To my FF helmet, so I can just pop the 20S Evo, from my 3/4 to my FF helmets, without having to R&R the entire headset. Local Cyclegear store give veteran discounts, so it was only $82 out the door.

Beautiful ride. Ur gonna love the seat. I have the Harley lo profile w/toast stitching, which is very similar, bought from a guy in Cal. here on the forum. Found it to be THE most comfortable over all other seats and I've had most. Love my Saddlemen road sofa too, but my Harley seat is absolute tops!

Installed CVO mufflers in onyx black from 2019 CVO limited and dropped off my heat shields to get powder coated in gloss black to match.
I might order fullsac baffles for CVO mufflers in the future
Also ordered 10" KST Pathfinder which should get here this Friday

Also, fullsac makes excellent replacement baffles that sound good and perform well should I decide on stage 2 or 3.
